Congratulations are in order for two Division I Indiana women’s basketball programs. Butler and Evansville were both recognized by the NCAA on Wednesday for their exceptional work in the classroom as part of the NCAA’s Academic Performance Program.

More so than in recent recollection, 2010 seems to be a year of change for support staff at a number of Division I women’s basketball programs in Indiana. Spring always brings a slew of coaching changes around the country, as head coaches get fired and hired, with the effects trickling down to support staff. But this year, head coaching positions at D-I Indiana programs are pretty solid with the support staff making the moves.
The NCAA late signing period will end on May 19, but some seniors and JUCO players are getting down to business before the deadline to get their college futures pinned down. A number of NAIA programs have also signed Hoosier players.
