According to the Indianapolis Star, the 2012 Indiana Junior All-Stars will begin a series of games against the Kentucky Junior All-Stars this summer.

The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports has released its All-State teams from the 2011-12 season. Eight seniors, five juniors and two sophomores comprise the 15-member First Team. Eleven seniors and four juniors round out the Second Team.

Fifteen seniors and 15 underclass girls basketball players have been chosen first-team all-state by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association has named senior players to its Academic All State Honors lists for the 2011-12 season.

The Indianapolis Starhas released the names of the 2012 Junior All-Star team members, who will prepare the Senior All-Stars for their two-game series with Kentucky in June.

Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 senior girls’ basketball players for 2011-12, as compiled by Garry H. Donna, publisher of Hoosier Basketball Magazine, have been named.  These girls were selected from approximately 1,600 senior players statewide.

In its 27th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with ESPNHS, today announced Stephanie Mavunga of Brownsburg High School as its 2011-12 Gatorade Indiana Girls Basketball Player of the Year.  Mavunga is the first Gatorade Indiana Girls Basketball Player of the Year to be chosen from Brownsburg High School.
