Canterbury junior Fincher commits to Xavier

Junior standout Kindell Fincher of Fort Wayne Canterbury has verbally committed to Xavier Univeristy.
The 5’10 forward averaged 21.2 points and 12.2 points as a sophomore on last season’s 1A State Championship team, leading her team to a 25-2 record. The Cavaliers will open under new head coach Wayne Krieger on November 10 against Fort Wayne Wayne.
Xavier is coached by former Fort Wayne Homestead star Amy Waugh. The Musketeers, who are members of the Atlantic 10, posted and 8-20 record last season.
