IHSAA releases school enrollment figures for reclassification
The IHSAA member school enrollment figures as submitted this fall to the Indiana Department of Education and listed in order of largest to smallest enrollment have been compiled. These figures will be used to classify schools for the next two-year cycle which includes the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school years.
Within the week, the IHSAA intends to release the three separate listings that will group member schools into their appropriate classes:
- Four classes for baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball
- Five classes for football
- Two classes for soccer
Sectional groupings in each sport will be released later this spring.
