According to several sources, Indiana great Stephanie White (Seeger/Purdue) has been named an assistant coach for the Indiana Fever.

White, who was named Miss Basketball in 1995, went on to Purdue, where she led the Boilermakers to the NCAA National Championship in 1999. She was drafted and played with the inaugural Fever team in 2000 and retired her competitive playing shoes in 2004.

White will join Fever head coach Linn Dunn on the sidelines, marking a reunion with her former Purdue head coach. White comes to the Fever after four years as an assistant with the Chicago Sky and a round of assistant coaching jobs at Ball State, Kansas State and Toledo.
