The women’s basketball teams from IPFW (D-I), Saint Mary’s (D-III), Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA), Bethel (NAIA) and IU South Bend (NAIA) were recently honored by the NCAA for attaining a Top 20 team GPA for the 2010-11 season for their respective divisions. These five were the only Indiana teams to make the Top 20 lists.

The Mastadons were ranked No. 18 (3.398 GPA) in Division I, the Belles of Saint Mary’s came in at No. 19 (3.464 GPA) in Division III, and Indiana Wesleyan (3.496), Bethel (3.449) the IUSB Titans (3.352) came in at Nos. 7, 11 and 23, respectively, in NAIA. Indiana Wesleyan and Bethel were also NAIA-DII Tournament qualifiers.

Top ranked teams were Wisconsin-Green Bay (3.616) in Division I, Drury (3.709) in Division II, Northland (3.706) in Division III, Northwestern Iowa (3.657) in NAIA and Salt Lake (3.379) in the JUCO ranks.
