Purdue WBB cancels trip to Caribbean Challenge due to team member hospitalized with meningitis
According to a news release from Purdue, the women’s basketball team has canceled its trip to Cancun because a member of the team was hospitalized on Tuesday with a suspected meningitis infection. The identity of the player has not been revealed.
The Boilermakers were scheduled to play Montana on Thanksgiving Day and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday. The team returned to West Lafayette from Indianapolis this morning after preparing to depart to Mexico.
